Welcome to Hudson Valley Epoxy (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Company”). By accessing or using our website, submitting a quote request, or scheduling a service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or engaging our services.

1. General Information

Hudson Valley Epoxy provides professional epoxy flooring, concrete coating, and related surface repair services throughout the Hudson Valley region.
By using our website or services, you agree that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract.

2. Estimates & Proposals

All estimates and proposals are free and non-binding until accepted in writing, electronically or verbally.

  • Pricing is based on information available at the time of the estimate and may be adjusted if site conditions differ.

  • Once a proposal is approved, a deposit will be required before work is scheduled.

  • Additional work requested by the customer that is not included in the proposed agreement will incur additional charges.

3. Deposits & Payments
  • A deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure scheduling and material orders.

  • Final payment is due immediately upon project completion unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Accepted payment methods may include cash, check,  or electronic transfer.

  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees or interest as allowed by law.

4. Scheduling & Project Delays

Hudson Valley Epoxy will make every reasonable effort to begin and complete work as scheduled. However, start dates are subject to change due to weather, material availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We are not responsible for delays outside of our control but will communicate promptly with any schedule adjustments.

5. Surface Preparation & Conditions

All epoxy coatings and flooring systems require a clean, sound, and properly prepared surface.
The client agrees to:

  • Ensure the work area is accessible and free of obstructions

  • Provide access to electrical outlets and water (if required)

  • Keep vehicles, pets, and people away from the work zone until completion and cure time is met

Hudson Valley Epoxy is not responsible for damage caused by improper use or exposure before the coating has fully cured.

6. Warranty & Limitations

Hudson Valley Epoxy offers limited warranties on workmanship and materials as outlined in individual proposals.
Warranties do not cover:

  • Cracks or movement in the underlying concrete

  • Moisture issues, hydrostatic pressure, or pre-existing structural defects

  • Damage from chemicals, misuse, impact, or neglect

We stand behind the quality of our work and will address any verified installation-related issues promptly within the warranty period.

7. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Customers may cancel a project prior to material ordering or scheduling without penalty.

  • Cancellations made after deposits are used for materials or scheduling will result in forfeiture of all or part of the deposit to cover costs incurred.

8. Use of Website

By accessing our website, you agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission

  • Attempt to disrupt or harm the website’s functionality or security

  • Submit false or misleading information through forms or messages

All website content, including text, images, and design, is owned by Hudson Valley Epoxy and protected by copyright law.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hudson Valley Epoxy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project or service in question.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be handled in the appropriate courts within Orange County, NY. Any legal issues shall be resolved through arbitration. 

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect business, legal, or technical changes. The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
